About the Brand
The Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (KS WELI) at UT Austin’s mission is to strengthen the next generation of courageous, creative women leaders who will change the world — in business and beyond.
Through an environment of community and empowerment, KS WELI aims to redefine leadership and entrepreneurship by growing the number of women-owned and women-led businesses.

As KS WELI’s Digital Strategist Intern, I contributed to social media marketing, content creation, and digital campaigns that enhanced engagement and visibility for the institute.
My experience has strengthened my ability to drive brand awareness,
connect with target audiences, and support mission-driven initiatives
in the entrepreneurial space. -
As KS WELI’s Digital Strategist Intern, I helped lead content creation and community engagement across Instagram and Slack. I produced bi-weekly reels, visual assets, and live event coverage using Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Suite apps.
I also managed and grew our online community, responding to messages, copywriting, and curating a consistent brand voice. On the strategy side, I planned and scheduled content through Planoly, developed targeted campaigns, and used analytics to refine our social media presence and drive student participation.

Led the biweekly KS WELI newsletter in Flodesk, managing visuals, copy, and layout to promote upcoming events and initiatives. Ensured brand consistency across campaigns and used Flodesk analytics to optimize engagement and content performance.

Delivered speeches about KS WELI’s mission and programs to audiences of 100+ attendees.
Regularly tabled to engage with students and community members, led a Marketing 101 workshop, and appeared on the Founding Fearless Podcast, where I spoke about my involvement with the organization.
